2016 Election

I don't follow. I'm pretty sure that Obama being elected didn't significantly help out blacks. I doubt that if Carson was elected, there would be much help for blacks either. Hillary you may have a point with because it's one of her talking points about women and what not, but Sanders doesn't really focus on the religion aspect too much from what I can tell.

I get that you have other reasons to like him, but that one just seems rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things. It's like...I don't know, a Muslim president in France. Nice bit of trivia for the future in school quizzes, but not particularly important.

I only voted for trump because I could care less who wins honestly they all suck. As long as it's not hilary-ous
I you don't care who wins then why won't you just not vote so that the votes from people who do care will be worth more?

Your argument also doesn't explain why you voted for Trump.
"could care less who wins honestly they all suck"
so therefore:
"I voted for Trump."

See how there is no logic in that?
I'm saying that I don't think any are that good but if I had to pick I would pick trump

I just heard about the KKK thing though lol. What happened exactly? Someone asked him what he thinks about the head of the KKK rooting for him and he said he doesn't know who that is something like that?

The Trump University scam should be something you look into as well.

@Kuklinski: zionism means you believe that there should be a Jewish state. It's not negative at all. It's not like what you often hear about them being extremist Jews. Bernie has said time and time again that he supports a two-state solution in Palestine. He simply believes the Jews have the right to one side of it.
Besides, if you don't want your allegiance to lie with Israel than a republican is the last person you should be voting for, they're more pro-Israel than anyone.
That's not all there is to Zionism but because I've already been warned for "anti-semetic" comments so I'll stick to the Jewish State part.

The Jews have no legitimate claim to the land known as Israel, it was allegedly taken from them a few centuries ago and forcibly reinstated by 2 superpowers who had no business meddling in Middle Eastern affairs, and they still don't to this day. Under the "Two-State" solution, Israel is the only Imperialist state in a world where Imperialism is outlawed. Israel slowly takes land from Palestine and extends their own borders by forcibly uprooting Palestinian citizens from their homes, demolishing the homes, and building homes for Israelis on the stolen land. They also use false flag attacks to justify their expansion in to Palestine by claiming it's "for security reasons".

While I genuinely hate the man, Trump has stated that he won't pick sides in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, so he's neutral, although if his son-in-law has anything to say he'd probably have Trump nuke Palestine. Trump isn't actually Republican, he's Independent, but he gamed the system because he knew he would never stand a chance as an Independent so he hopped on the GOP train.

Whether or not you believe the Jews have a right to the land known as Israel, they certainly don't have a right to expand in to Palestine, a country whos land was stolen from them to make the Jewish state to begin with.

If we go around giving back all the land that was stolen from indigenous peoples over the past thousand year, no country in existence today would be unaffected.

You are explaining extreme zionists. People who claim Israel has the right to all of the land. Bernie is not a extreme zionist, otherwise he wouldn't have said he believes the Palestinians have the right to half of the region.
I completely agree that the Israelians don't have the right to expand it, and I believe they should even reatreat completely from West Bank and Gaza. But Bernie would tell you the same thing, he just doesn't believe the land should be entirely Palestine. In which he is correct for the same reason that native Americans shouldn't have all of the U.S.
He's not an extreme zionist, he believes there should be two states, he doesn't advocate the expansion of Israel's borders.

If all them were incompetent, than Trump is both incompetent and dangerous. The things he's said, which surely are not helping him with the vote, are amazingly racist and discriminatory and there's no way we can give him that power to back up those claims. There's everything he said about Mexicans and Muslims. There's his entire thing with the KKK member. He's got that whole University Trump Scam going on which has become a huge thing right now.

With the KKK one, Trump was talking/debating/etc. something with KKK member, David Dukes. He was constantly pressed on about why he doesn't disavow Dukes, disavow white supremacy and the KKK. They made the point to mention those last two objectives cause Trumps going on about bad ear pieces and things like he doesn't know who Dukes is or something. Trump was constantly pointed out on whether he disavowed the KKK, pointing to that specific subject and he would refuse to answer.

I think he tries to pull out himself out of the moat some time later, but the damage was already done.

However, that was probably light weight compared to what happened with the University Trump scam where his so called "University" has been noted to have scammed multiple people out of10s of thousands of dollars...and that's the lucky ones too. It's gotten so big it's being taken to court.

He's sprouted amazingly misogynist remarks against women as well. You should read up on some of those.

Trump is an absolutely awful man who doesn't have a clue. Even if he did, even if Trump had great ideas that would help out the country. That doesn't mean anything unless you can withhold your negativity of things back while letting the positives strive. It's pretty clear that he can't. He can't hold back those negatives.

So why is he second in this thread's poll? Are they voting for him as a joke?

Many people share some of the views that he expresses and see him as totally uninfluenced by any political groups.

To be perfectly honest, the Presidential Election doesn't matter a whole lot compared to the other elections. Nobody in the House of Congress or the Senate is going to agree with Trump, be they Democrat or Republican. Nothing is gonna get through.
